The article says they found differences in the brain structure.
Sure you do. Any activity in which you invest a great deal of time will
change the structure of your brain. That's what learning is!
Researchers once removed a cat whisker, (not recommended), and found a
structural change in the cats brain after when the cat died. Sad, but
yes, changes in the brain reflect the brain's adaptation to the tasks it
is required to do. The brain is plastic.
