For myself, and my 6 year old daughter... both of us are taking
lessons. Based on the price range I've been considering, and from some
inputs from others and perusing this newsgroup, I'm zeroing in on the
Yamaha U1 - used - if I can find it.
What's the best avenue for finding this instrument? It seems like a
pretty popular model, one from which people may upgrade to a grand, I'm
guessing.
Based on what it would cost to move it, I'm thinking using the internet
to find it is not worth much, right?
One of the biggest hinderances I've run into is the fact that my wife
does not want a black finish (ebony... whatever). Anything like brown,
or red-brown, is cool. It seems like all the stores have black ones.
Has anyone ever had success with putting an ad in the paper - looking
for a seller?
Thanks for any wise input.
PS - I'm in southeastern PA.
