Greetings,
I have been trying to trace the history of our Ronisch upright
piano.
according to the serial it is dated between 1920-1930 (70753). It has
the
word "Langer" on the front of the action frame assy. Would this be
original,
Yes
were sub assy's installed from other manufacturers at this time?
Yes , Langer was an action maker and I have seen them in other German
pianos including Gors and Kallmann and Feurich. They are excellent
actions.
The other item that indicates a pre war build is that "Dresden" is
cast
into the frame. The Dresden plant was destroyed during the war and
Ronisch
moved to Liepzig??
No. Ronisch was always in Liepzig. That is where they made their most
famous piano , the Hupfeld Phonoliszt.
I do know where it has been for the last 30 years and no
major work has been done on it in this time.
$$$$ :-(
Gary.
Hi Stuart,
I have a Ronisch piano that Im trying to work out the age of if you can help?
It has a Carl Ronisch Trademark emblem with royal swed something in German and a Carl Ronisch Dresden with two crown emblems to the right inside. There is an imprinted number {69} at the back of the piano and inside the numbers 30405.

If you have any ideas on the age and or other history on it that would be wonderful.

Thank you,
Carly.

Hi Carly,
I recently found this post and wondered if you still required information on your Ronisch?

Apologies for the delay
