Anyone has got experience about GEM (General music) Italian maker?
I've an expensive RP220 piano. After magnificent 14 years performances
failed.
Gem manifacurer failed and servicing is not available anymore.
I've a good knowlwdge about electronics but no idea how theese gadgets work.
Opened the case and among lots of boards I focused my attention to the
mainboard because of a ni-mh battery faulty. Dameged copper lines were
restored and now I'm hunting for the "custom made" battery.
No idea what it is for. The piano, at switch on, shows just an illuminated
display, nothing else, and no functions are available.
Any idea to avoid scraping that excellent, exspensive piano?
